Theresa Nielsen is a 32-year-old defender. She has over 120 caps for the Danish national team.
Brøndby hero
Theresa spent seven years of her footballing career playing for Brøndby IF in Denmark. It was there that she established herself as an elite footballer, and became a legend of the club.
During her time in Denmark she was named Danish Women’s Footballer of the Year, following a stellar season which saw her claim a league and cup double in 2012.
The 32-year-old left Brøndby as a five-time Elitedivisionen winner and seven-time Danish Women’s Cup champion.
Europe’s best
In 2017, Theresa was named in the Best XI at UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 following an impressive campaign playing for Denmark.
Her performances across the competition showcased her ability to perform on the biggest stage and reaffirmed her name among the world’s best.
What to expect
Theresa will not only bring a wealth of experience to the Club, but she will also provide great leadership.
She has proven to be a colossus at the back and player who will work tirelessly to help her team both defensively and in attack.
Solid in one-on-one situations, Theresa thrives on reading the play ahead of her and attacking the space in front of her.
