Hamill, 20, was one of the inaugural members of the Heart squad, linking up with the side in early 2010 following a successful stint at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Making an immediate impression at Hyundai A-League level, Hamill immediately demonstrated a maturity and poise which belied his age, featuring on 34 occasions to accelerate his development as an elite footballer.
Earning selection to the Young Socceroos for the 2011 FIFA U/20 World Cup, Hamill has been a regular member of the national set-up over the past three years, reinforcing his status as one of the leading members of Australian football-s next generation.
