Melbourne Heart FC-s preparations for the Hyundai A-League season will take the next step when the side takes on Adelaide United at Epping Soccer Stadium tomorrow night.

Following a series of hit outs against local opposition, Heart-s clash with United will mark John Aloisi-s first test against a Hyundai A-League outfit in what will be the Red and White-s toughest task to date.

New recruits Patrick Gerhardt, Dylan Macallister and David Vrankovic are likely to assume places in the match day squad, while former Dinamo Zagreb Josip Tadic is another recent arrival in contention to play some part in the contest.
