Melbourne Heart FC has been advised by the Board of Football Federation Victoria that its participation in State League Two has been revoked.

Melbourne Heart FC CEO Scott Munn said: “Like many local clubs, we are extremely disappointed”

“We are extremely concerned that this decision limits the elite development pathway. We do not want an apology from the FFV but a pathway to be provided to the football youth of Victoria.

“The biggest disappointment however is that we are now unable to invest time and resources into developing local players, like Nick Kalmar, who now still lack a clear path toward a professional career.”
