Melbourne City FC forward Mathew Leckie has been ruled out of the upcoming Socceroos fixture against Mexico after sustaining an injury while in national team camp.
Leckie suffered a knock to the knee during training in Dallas which will see him miss Sunday’s clash.
He will remain under the advisement of the national team medical staff until the completion of the team’s commitments in Dallas, before returning to Melbourne for further assessment.
The Club will provide a further update on Leckie following his return to Melbourne.
