Hughes’ Northern Ireland leave it late to secure a point

Aaron Hughes’ Northern Ireland are still in prime position to automatically qualify for Euro 2016 after leaving it late to pick up a point against Hungary.

Kyle Lafferty’s 93’ minute equaliser means NI are assured a playoff spot at worst and will have to wait until their home fixture against Greece in October to seal their passage to the European Championships. Hughes was an unused sub.
