Melbourne City FC quartet Lisa De Vanna, Laura Alleway, Larissa Crummer and Steph Catley touched down in Canberra today for a four day training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport, as the Westfield Matildas continue preparations ahead of February’s World Cup qualifiers.

The 23-player squad selected by Head Coach Alen Stajcic for the training camp (9-12 November) is the latest since the Westfield Matildas returned from China where they played matches against China (D1-1) and England (L0-1) late last month. Depending on selection, all four players should be available for this weekends first home match at CB Smith Reserve against Adelaide United, kick-off 4pm.

Football Federation Australia has also announced that the Westfield Matildas have accepted an invitation to play an international match against the Korea Republic on Sunday 29 November 2015 at Incheon Stadium in Incheon.

Meanwhile Socceroos midfielder Aaron Mooy will miss Friday night’s Hyundai A-League clash against the Western Sydney Wanderers, as the Socceroos prepare for Thursday night’s World Cup qualifier against Kyrgyzstan.

A third consecutive call-up to the national team is just reward for City’s marquee man, who maintained his tremendous A-League form with a superb display against Adelaide United last Thursday.
