Melbourne Heart FC defender Patrick Kisnorbo will miss Friday’s clash with Wellington Phoenix in Round 12 of the Hyundai A-League

Melbourne Heart FC defender Patrick Kisnorbo will miss Friday’s clash with Wellington Phoenix in Round 12 of the Hyundai A-League after receiving a one-match suspension following his dismissal against Melbourne Victory.

The following statement was issued from Football Federation Australia’s Match Review Panel:

The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Alan Contini convened to consider the following incident from Round 11 of the Hyundai A-League:

1. The incident involving Patrick Kisnorbo (Melbourne Heart FC) in or around the 20th minute of Melbourne Heart FC-s match against Melbourne Victory FC on Saturday evening. The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as the Player was issued with a direct red card. The MRP confirmed that Patrick Kisnorbo will serve the Minimum Sanction of one (1) match, being the Mandatory Match Suspension.
