Melbourne City FC, and proud supporting partner McDonald’s are delighted to launch the 2021 edition of the Macca’s City Cup.
The third edition of the Macca’s City Cup will be bigger and better than ever with a number of exciting new introductions to the tournament:
- Grading System – this year a grading system has been introduced into Macca’s City Cup. Teams will compete in either the Macca’s City Cup or Macca’s City Plate to compete for the title
- Macca’s City CUP – Division A
- Macca’s City PLATE – Division B
- New Age Groups – this year will see the introduction of an under 10’s competition for Macca’s City Cup. Boys’ and girls’ teams from across Victoria will have the chance to register an under 10’s team for the first time
- Venue – this year Macca’s City Cup will be played across three days in October from Melbourne City FC’s new training base at Casey Fields.
With thanks to McDonald’s, each team that registers for the tournament will receive a team pack that includes:
- 10 x footballs
- 1 x ball carry bags
- 20 x McCafé vouchers
Tournament Prizes
Every team that makes it through to the Grand Finals (16 teams in total) will be decked out in new Melbourne City FC and PUMA track jackets, whilst players will also have the chance to win the Golden Ball award for the most valuable player in the Macca’s City Cup Finals who will receive a money can’t buy training experience with Melbourne City FC coaches.
Take out the whole tournament in your division and your team will receive a $1,000 voucher to spend on football equipment!
