The Young Socceroos have beaten Bermuda 4-1 in a friendly match in California on Monday afternoon.

The game was the first in a round-robin tournament called the 2014 NTC Invitational, also featuring USA and Chile, based at the US national training centre.

For Australia, the matches are important components of the Young Socceroos’ preparations for the AFC U-19 Championship in Myanmar in October this year, which also double as the qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand which will be held in July 2015.
