Melbourne City FC will continue its pre-season fixtures this Friday night as it faces NPL Victoria’s North Geelong Warriors at JL Murphy Reserve in Port Melbourne. Kick-off 7:30pm.

The fixture will be the first against NPL Victoria opponents with the regular NPL season wrapping up last week.

City will use the match as a warm-up to the Quarter Finals of the Westfield FFA Cup and will face a Warriors side that will have it all to play for in the next couple of weeks.

Entrenched in a relegation playoff, North Geelong will be a competitive opponent come Friday night with a four week period without matches until their final match to decide their fate.
