Aaron Mooy and Safuwan Baharudin featured in the second of their respective international friendlies during the week with both players starting in their fixtures.

Aaron Mooy was in the starting XI for the Socceroos friendly with FYR Macedonia on Tuesday morning (AEDT), replacing the injured Mark Milligan. Mooy completed 65 passes and recorded a 88% passing efficiency rate in his impressive performance but the midfielder couldn’t break the stalemate, settling for a 0-0 draw.

Safuwan’s Singapore were unlucky in their first friendly against Thailand, going down 2-0 and Bernd Stange’s men looked for an improved result against Guam. After going down twice, Singapore fought back for a 2-2 draw at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
