Patrick Kisnorbo tests positive to COVID-19

Melbourne City FC head coach Patrick Kisnorbo will not travel with the playing squad for Tuesday night’s A-League Men’s game against Newcastle Jets after testing positive for COVID-19 this morning.

Kisnorbo, who has begun his seven-day self-isolation period, will also miss Friday’s away fixture at Western Sydney. He will be available to return the dugout for the team’s next home fixture against Adelaide United on February 15.

In Kisnorbo’s absence, assistant coach Petr Kratky will take charge of the squad for the match against Newcastle with the support of fellow assistant coach Ralph Napoli.

We wish the boys good luck with two important matches on the road and a speedy recovery to PK.
