The schedule is designed to ensure Heart fans throughout the Melbourne metropolitan region and beyond have the chance to see their team in action ahead of the Club-s highly anticipated 2012/13 season.
With the pre-season matches set to be a crucial element in the build-up to Head Coach John Aloisi-s debut campaign in charge, Heart is likely to field strong line-ups in each of the matches, offering a first glimpse of the Club-s new signings, including Liberian international Patrick Gerhardt and Golgol Mebrahtu.
Heart-s pre-season campaign will launch with a match against a Victorian Champions League representative team in Geelong, and also features hit outs with Hyundai A-League rivals Adelaide United and Perth Glory, with a plethora of evening start times a key feature.
The only notable exception is Heart-s match against United on August 21, scheduled to kick-off at 2pm to enable the South Australian side to transit to and from Melbourne on the same day ahead of their AFC Champions League Quarter Final.
