For the first time ever, Liberty A-League Fantasy is here!
Today marks the launch of the first ever Official A-League Women’s Fantasy competition as we build up to our season opener on November 20 against Wellington Phoenix.
There’s plenty of City stars that are set to come under close consideration for Fantasy coaches too, with Hannah Wilkinson unsurprisingly topping the list.
It was a dominant first season down under for Wilkinson, netting 14 goals which would’ve seen her score an average of 15.33 points per game, good for the second best of any player in the competition in 2021/22.
The likes of Holly McNamara and Rhianna Pollicina were also right up there amongst the top-scorers, contributing plenty of goals and assists in their first City seasons.
Delving a little deeper into the player prices, Karly Roestbakken ($165.3k) could provide a great value pick after an interrupted last campaign.
Although yet to play at the level, both Julia Grosso ($165.3k) and Daniela Galic ($155.1k) also firm as great value with plenty of opportunities for game time on the cards after strong pre-seasons so far.
