Melbourne City FC can confirm defender Richard Windbichler has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect.

Windbichler joined the Club in June 2019, making eight A-League appearances during his time at City. 

His departure opens a spot in our defensive roster, as we look to complete our final squad ahead of the new season.

The Club would like to thank Richard for his contribution and wishes him the best for the future.
