Sorensen accepts Great Dane ambassadorial role

City keeper Thomas Sorensen has accepted a role as an ambassador for Great Dane Club of Victoria.

The Great Dane himself has represented his country over 100 times and believes the tie-in is a match made in heaven.

Sorensen, who has also taken a role as a Victorian tourism blogger on Instagram, was proud to be named as an ambassador for the group, saying it he would be barking mad if he didn’t take the opportunity.

“When they first approached me, I thought I couldn’t let this opportunity go because it just makes sense,” Sorensen said.

“The name is one thing but I also believe that my character is very much like a Great Dane. Gentle giants that have a great nature.”
