We are happy to confirm that Stefan Colakovski has been called up to the Macedonia under-21 squad for the upcoming UEFA under-21 Championship qualifiers against France and Serbia.
Colakovski departed Melbourne on Monday night to link up with the squad ahead of these fixtures.

The national team selection caps off what has been a successful 12 months for our 21-year-old attacker. Colakovski made 20 appearances and was a key part of our double winning squad last season, scoring and assisting in our semi-final win against Macarthur.
Should he take to the pitch in next month’s qualifiers, it will mark Colakovski’s first appearance at international level in any age group.
“It’s a proud moment for me,” Colakovski said.
“I’ve dreamt of playing international football since I was a kid and I’m thankful to the Macedonian federation for giving me this opportunity.”
Macedonia continues its quest for UEFA under-21 Championship qualification against France early next Friday morning at 2:30am (AEST), before taking on Serbia the following Wednesday at 12:00am.
“We’ll be up against some tough opposition but I’m certainly looking forward to the challenge of playing international football for the first time in my career,” Colakovski said.
