Team News: City’s Melbourne Derby squad

The team is in for Saturday’s Melbourne Derby. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

It’s full steam ahead for City as it prepares for Melbourne Derby 31 with only one casualty from Sunday’s contest with Newcastle.

Denis Genreau is set for an extended period on the sidelines with an AC joint injury sustained in the first half against the Jets with the youngster out for at least the next 3-4 weeks.

Midfield options won’t be a problem though for Erick Mombaerts with Rostyn Griffiths returning to the selection mix from illness while Connor Metcalfe was an unused sub on the bench.

Moudi Najjar and Stefan Colakovski have also been added to the extended side that will be cut down by two 90 minutes before kick-off.

Melbourne City face Victory on Saturday 21 December at AAMI Park, kick-off 5pm. Get your tickets via Ticketek.
