The team is in for our New Year’s Day clash with Western Sydney. See who’s in and who’s out of this weeks side.
It’s an unchanged squad for City heading into the first clash of 2019 with Warren Joyce naming the same 18 that were selected for December’s Christmas Derby.
City walked away with a share of the spoils from the contest which saw Dario Vidosic strike late to earn the hosts a point in the gripping contest at AAMI Park.
The nine-day turnaround has allowed City to rest and recover from the contest with no injury concerns coming out of the Derby. Another positive week for Ritchie De Laet has seen the former Leciester City man selected for the contest while a strong first appearance from Michael O’Halloran will see the flyer potentially play more minutes as he makes a full recovery from his hamstring injury.
City face Western Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.50pm.
