Team News: City’s Round 14 Squad

The team is in for Saturday’s clash with Perth Glory. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

The show must go on for City as they return to AAMI Park looking to bounce back from Wednesday’s disappointing loss to the Central Coast.

Warren Joyce sees the return of Harrison Delbridge to the side as the defender returns from his one-match ban for the accumulation of yellow cards.

Dario Vidosic also joins him in the 18-man squad with the attacker still touch and go with the hip injury that has kept him out of the previous three matches.

City’s medical staff will give Osama Malik the maximum time to prove his fitness for Saturday with the defender picking up a corked thigh against the Mariners. Mark Birighitti will also be given until 90 minutes before kick-off for the match with his back injury in the warm-up against Brisbane keeping him out of the midweek clash in Gosford.

Melbourne City face Perth Glory at AAMI Park on Saturday night (kick-off 7.50pm) before facing Western Sydney Wanderers at the same venue on Tuesday night.
