Team News: City’s Round 2 squad

The team is in for Sunday’s clash with Adelaide at AAMI Park. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

Our ‘Return of the Mac’ line comes to the fore once again this week as Jamie Maclaren returns to the squad from international duty.

The Socceroo striker had a fruitful period away with the national team, scoring in both games against Nepal and Chinese Taipei, playing the last ten minutes in Tuesday night’s contest in Kaohsiung.

Denis Genreau also returns from international camp with the Under 23’s who were away in Qatar ahead of the 2020 Olympics.

The only injury concern for City comes in the midfield as Florin Berenguer looks likely to miss several weeks with a hamstring injury. The Frenchman missed the Melbourne Derby from the injury late last week and after further assessments, Berenguer will spend an extended period on the sidelines.
