Team News: City’s Round 2 squad

The team is in for Saturday’s clash with Central Coast Mariners at Central Coast Stadium. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

After last week’s season opening win in the Melbourne Derby, City will look to strengthen with the return of two key players.

Scott Jamieson will return to the squad after being touch-and-go last week for the Derby. The Club Captain returns from a slight hamstring issue but will be right to go for the trip to Gosford.

Dario Vidosic was struck but illness the morning of the Derby, ruling him out of the Round 1. A full week on the track has the experienced midfielder fit and firing for the encounter as City look to make it two from two to start the season.

15-year-old Idrus Abdulahi and A-League debutant Anthony Lesiotis have also retained their spot in the extended squad that will be cut down by two 90 minutes before kick off.
