City football is back at AAMI Park this weekend with a huge doubleheader awaiting.
Plenty is on the line for City’s Men’s and Women’s squads on what is set to be a big Sunday of football.
Rado Vidosic’s men will first kick off the action against Newcastle, hunting another crucial three points in the race to the Premiers Plate following last week’s international break.
Three points could also be crucial for another big reason… Should Adelaide lose to Western Sydney on Friday night, we’ll be just three points away from securing a spot in the 2023/24 AFC Champions League spot.

The reinforcements are in for Rado too this Sunday, with Thomas Lam (suspension) and Florin Berenguer (injury) returning to the squad.
Unfortunately the news isn’t as good for another of our foreigners in Richard ven der Venne.
The Dutchman had been tracking well with his recovery from a calf injury but has been ill for the past week which has delayed his return. We hope to see him back in the squad in the next week or two.
Dario Vidosic’s City Women will be in action following the Men’s clash for their final match of the season, and there’s set to be plenty on the line.
Pending results the day prior, there’s a chance that both City and Canberra will be facing off with the winner taking the last Finals spot.
