TEAM NEWS: Pollicina returns for Perth trip

City Women’s Head Coach Dario Vidosic has confirmed his squad for this weekend’s trip to face Perth.

His team comes into the clash after taking a point off ladder-leaders Sydney FC thanks to Kaitlyn Torpey’s late equaliser.

City perhaps will even count itself a little unlucky to have only left that day with one point after Hannah Wilkinson forced a good save with a last-second effort.

City’s focus is now solely on its final away trip of the regular season, set to take on Perth Glory at Macedonia Park this Sunday.

It’s been a long wait, but City fans will potentially have the chance to see all four of Rhianna Pollicina, Maria Jose Rojas, Daniela Galic and Holly McNamara on the pitch at the same time when they take on Perth.

Pollicina missed last week’s clash through personal reasons but will return to the squad for Sunday’s clash.

A number of players remain out through injury, although goalkeeper Melissa Barbieri has been tracking well and is nearing a return to the squad.
