Melbourne City will be in action once more in the A-League Women’s competition before Christmas, set to take on Canberra United on Friday night.
After dropping points for the first time of the season last time out, City will be hoping for an early Christmas present with a return to winning ways.
Despite the scoreboard not going their way, Dario Vidosic’s team put in a performance that there were still plenty of positives to be taken from.
He’s now named his squad to take on Canberra this Friday evening.
Following a late withdrawal from last week’s clash due to illness, Vidosic confirmed that Captain Emma Checker would not be ready to return on Friday.
Darcey Malone has been included in the squad after missing the last few fixtures through injury.
