Team News: Squad locked in for Brisbane trip

Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo has confirmed his squad for City’s Round 2 away clash against Brisbane Roar.

City will be eyeing a second consecutive win to begin the season when it faces the Roar for its first away fixture of 2022/23 on Friday night.

It was confirmed on Thursday morning that Florin Berenguer and Nuno Reis would both miss the fixture through hamstring injury.

There’s more positive news for Curtis Good though, the defender returning the squad after missing the season-opening win over Western United through injury.

Finnish defender Thomas Lam has also been named after being substituted with a knock in the second half last week.

A trio of young guns are unavailable due to Young Socceroos duty, but it does pave the way for Scholarship duo Emin Durakovic and Arion Sulemani to be named in the squad for the first time.
