Team News: The squad is in for our clash with Perth

Our side is in for Tuesday’s clash with Perth Glory at AAMI Park. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

An extended break at the start of the week has seen City rested and rejuvenated for an important month ahead that starts against the Glory at AAMI Park.

City will retain the sixteen players that were apart of last Saturday’s Melbourne Derby with Connor Chapman and Denis Genreau added to the extended side that will be cut by two 90 minutes before kick-off.

City Head Coach John van’t Schip confirmed on Monday injuries to defenders Michael Jakobsen and Osama Malik would see the duo doubtful to play another match this side of the New Year. The Dane is dealing with a calf injury that sees him touch and go for the New Year’s Eve clash with the Mariners while Malik’s quad will see him miss 2-4 weeks.

City prepare to take on Perth Glory at AAMI Park in our final double header of the season. See our Championship-winning W-League side at 5pm while the A-League team front up at 7.50pm. Click here to secure your tickets for the match or sign up for our 5 Match Membership.
