Team News: Squads locked in ahead of super-Saturday

This Saturday will see Melbourne City have both of squads in action on the same day for the first time this season.

Our A-League Men’s squad returns to the pitch for the first time since the World Cup break, while our Women’s squad will be in action a little earlier in the day.

Rado Vidosic will take the reins of the club’s Men’s squad for the first time in an official game when they face Sydney FC away, and back home Dario Vidosic will be looking to make it three from three to begin the season.

There are a handful changes in the Men’s squad, with Aiden O’Neill a key omission after being shown a second yellow in the team’s final fixture before the break.

His loss is offset by the returns of Andrew Nabbout and Curtis Good (both illness), while Nuno Reis is also back in the selection mix after missing the win over Newcastle due to a concussion sustained a week earlier.

In terms of the Women’s squad there’s a little less news, young midfielder Isabella Accardo has been added to the group while there are no outs.
