Melbourne City FC will face Hume City on Tuesday night as the club continues its pre-season against local NPL sides.
After bowing out of the FFA Cup on Tuesday night, the Club’s focus will shift to the Round 1 Hyundai A-League clash against the Club’s Westfield FFA Cup opponent, Sydney FC, on October 11.
The Hume City fixture will be the Club’s first open pre-season match in Melbourne.
Melbourne City FC will be looking to field a strong line-up for the match and international marquee Robert Koren could play some role, after settling into life in Melbourne.
Hume have had a topsy-turvy season but have rallied and sit fifth in the Victorian NPL, beating second-placed Oakleigh Cannons last month.
The Broadmeadows-based side boasts names like Richard Cardozo, Cristopher Christaldo and Kliment Taseski.
