Biography
Austrian midfielder, Andreas Kuen, joined the Club on a two-year contract with an option for an additional year ahead of the 2024/25 season.
A hard-working central midfielder, Kuen made the move to Melbourne from Atromitos in the Greek Super League where he has spent the past two seasons.
He brings with him a wealth of European experience, having made over 100 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga, scoring 10 goals and providing 22 assists.
Known for his elite passing range and ability to create chances out of nothing, the left-footed box-to-box midfielder is key in the middle of the park.
Kuen’s exceptional work-rate makes him effective both with and without the ball, his relentless pressing high up the pitch regularly putting opposition defenders under pressure in dangerous areas.
