Biography
Ahead of the 2024/25 season, Aziz Behich was named Captain of the Club’s Men’s team.
Behich previously made 89 appearances for Melbourne Heart between 2010 and 2013. After a decade abroad with stints in Türkiye, the Netherlands and Scotland, he re-joined City in August 2023.
With over 70 caps for the Socceroos, Behich’s international career, time in Europe, and experience in the A-League bring a wealth of experience and leadership qualities to the team.
In 2025, he captained City to a historic Melbourne Derby Grand Final win, claiming his first A-League Men’s Championship trophy.
