Laura Hughes

Midfielder, Laura Hughes, joined Melbourne City FC ahead of the 2023/24 A-League Women’s season after spending seven seasons with Canberra United.

Born and raised in the nation’s capital, the Australian U23 international, made her professional debut as a 15-year-old. 

In her debut season at the Club, Hughes quickly established herself as a crucial figure, earning City’s coveted Player of the Year award after a stellar season in which she featured in every match of the Premiership-winning campaign.
