Venezuelan international, Mariana Speckmaier, joined City ahead of the 2024/25 season on a two-year deal that will see her remain at the Club until at least the conclusion of 2025/26 A-League Women’s season.

The 26-year-old made her professional debut for the Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), before stints in Iceland with Valur and most recently with the Wellington Phoenix.

Speckmaier’s attacking prowess, speed and technical ability provides a huge boost to City’s attacking stocks as the reigning Premiers embark on their inaugural AFC Women’s Champions League campaign.
