City secured the long-term future of highly regarded Young Socceroo, 17-year-old Medin Memeti, on a three-year deal with an option for a further season ahead of the 2024/25 season.  

Memeti, a talented young attacker with a strong sense for goal, joins a long list of talented players to progress through the ranks in City’s Academy and earn a professional contract.

A powerful player with a quick turn of pace, Memeti has attributes that allow him to play several roles in attack. Whether he’s holding the ball up as a classic number 9, making runs in behind, or even out wide as a winger, Memeti’s finishing is what sets him apart.

He can finish from long range, get in the right positions to score from close range, as well as be an ariel threat making him an unpredictable player to mark for opposition defenders.
