Quinn MacNicol

One of Australia’s brightest young attacking talents, Quinn MacNicol joined Melbourne City ahead of the 2026/27 season on a three-year deal.

MacNicol made his professional debut at just 15 years of age and arrived at City having already amassed more than 20 senior appearances despite still being in his teens. Equally comfortable as an attacking midfielder or across the front line, he is renowned for his technical quality, creativity and composure in possession.

A gifted playmaker with an eye for goal, MacNicol combines intelligent movement, close control and vision to unlock opposition defences. His versatility and ability to influence matches in a variety of attacking roles make him one of the country’s most exciting young prospects.

His talent has also been recognised on the international stage, representing Australia across multiple youth age groups. Most recently a Young Socceroos representative, MacNicol also captained the Joeys at the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup, underlining his leadership qualities and standing among Australia’s next generation of talent.
