Roland Ballah

After three years in Melbourne City’s Academy, exciting young attacker Roland Ballah earned his first professional contract ahead of the 2026/27 season, signing a two-year deal with an option for a further campaign.

Originally from Western Australia, Ballah made the decision to leave home at just 15 years of age to pursue his football dream, relocating to Melbourne to join City’s Academy in 2023.

An electric winger blessed with explosive pace, fearless one-on-one ability and a natural eye for goal, Ballah announced himself as one of the National Premier League’s breakout stars following City’s promotion to the competition during the 2026 season.

Capable of beating defenders, stretching opposition backlines with his speed and creating moments of magic in the final third, Ballah’s exciting attacking qualities earned him the opportunity to join Aurelio Vidmar’s first-team squad as he continues his development in City blue.
