Hey City fans,
The Melbourne Derby is just around the corner, and we’re buzzing for this epic showdown that’s gonna light up our city!
But, here’s the deal: We want everyone to have a blast while staying safe. So, when you roll up to AAMI Park on Saturday, we’ve got a few things to keep in mind.
- Make sure to come early – AAMI Park security will be conducting enhanced screenings and bag checks for everyone entering the venue. Don’t get caught out with anything you shouldn’t have. View the full list of prohibited items here.
- No flares, okay? – If you are caught with one, you’ll be given a straight red card and promptly marched out of the venue and turned over to the police.
- Smile for the camera – The stadium now uses facial recognition technology to spot anyone who’s been told to take a timeout from all the A-League fun. So if you’ve previously been barred from attending A-League games, stay at home and watch the Derby from the couch.
- Stay in your lane (aka your seat) – To ensure a great experience for everyone, the venue will be checking tickets at all aisles and entry points. So, stick to your assigned seat and enjoy the match.
- Don’t end up on the naughty list – We’re all about good vibes and having fun, so if anyone starts acting like a party pooper, they’ll get the boot. So, to stay off the naughty list, just have a good time, be respectful and remember to abide by the venue’s conditions of entry.
- Call in the professionals – If you spot someone being a bit of a downer and getting up to no good, hit up the anti-social text line on 0481 615 684 and leave it to the pros to sort it out.
Let’s make this Melbourne Derby a total blast, full of cheers, laughs, and the best Christmas present of all…a City win.
