There is no requirement for players to purchase a training kit for School Holiday Camps.

What time should my child arrive to the session?

Players should arrive already changed in their kit approximately 10 minutes before the start of each scheduled session. If you are a new customer, please arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of your child’s first session to receive their training kit and allow time for players to get ready using our changing facilities.

What footwear should my child have?

All sessions (unless stated otherwise) will be delivered on synthetic pitches. As such, players should wear the appropriate footwear (boots for artificial/firm ground or turf trainers – no screw-in studs or running shoes).

Players will also be required to wear shin pads.

What size kit should I order for my child?

Each player will receive a kit as part of their course enrolment. Kit sizes can be viewed here.

Where can we collect our uniform?

Uniforms will be ready for collection at your first session. You can collect the kit from the Lead Coach at the venue that day at the pitch entrance. It is recommended that players arrive 15-20 minutes early for this first session to allow time to collect their kit.

Can we register during the term?

Players are welcome to join during the term. You can contact footballschool@melbournecityfc.com.au to receive a pro-rata term price.

What happens if my child misses a session?

It is important to note that missed sessions cannot be made up at a later date, nor can they be credited or refunded. We prepare each session for the full group, so if your child can’t make it, the session will still go ahead as scheduled.

Who coaches the sessions?

Each coaching session is delivered by qualified Melbourne City Football School coaches.

How are players grouped?

Players will be grouped by age groups. We provide a player pathway to ensure that each child is challenged appropriate to their individual learning requirements.

How does my child get selected for the Squad Program?

Our squad program is an invitation only program. Players are selected from within our City Football School groups and provided with an opportunity to train and play in a challenging and engaging learning environment in order to develop their skills and techniques and further increase their potential.
