Melbourne City FC invites fans to get behind our Ninja A-League Women’s team at an open training session this Friday 15 May ahead of Saturday afternoon’s blockbuster Grand Final against Wellington Phoenix at AAMI Park.
After securing the Premiers Plate with an impressive regular season campaign, City now has the chance to complete the A-League double and cap off an incredible season with Championship success in front of our home fans.
Supporters are encouraged to head down to training on Friday to show their support for Michael Matricciani’s side as preparations ramp up for the biggest match of the season.
The session will provide fans with a chance to watch the squad put the finishing touches on preparations, while also getting around the players ahead of what promises to be a huge occasion at AAMI Park.
Fresh off another outstanding campaign, City enters the Grand Final full of confidence after finishing the regular season as Premiers and booking a place in the decider with an impressive Finals Series performance.
Saturday’s Grand Final marks a massive moment for the Club, with City aiming to lift the Championship trophy and secure another piece of silverware in what has already been a memorable season.
