Melbourne City FC can confirm Harry Shillington will depart the Club following the conclusion of his contract.
A graduate of the City Academy, Shillington joined Melbourne City as a 12-year-old in 2017 and progressed through the Club’s development pathway as a role model to his peers, before making his senior debut in the Australia Cup in 2023.
After signing his first professional contract ahead of the 2024/25 Championship-winning campaign, Shillington established himself as a valuable member of the senior squad, making 24 appearances across all competitions, including 13 starts.
The 21-year-old featured in both domestic and AFC Champions League competition during his time with the first team and wore City colours for almost a decade.

Melbourne City FC Director of Football Michael Petrillo thanked Shillington for his contribution to the Club.
“Harry’s journey is a great example of the pathway that exists at Melbourne City, having come through our Academy system and earned his opportunity at senior level through hard work and dedication” Petrillo said.
“He has made a positive contribution over a number of years and represented the Club with professionalism throughout his time here.
“We thank Harry for everything he has given to Melbourne City throughout his time at the Club.”
