As the charitable arm of Melbourne City Football Club, City in the Community’s (CiTC) vision is to empower better lives through football.
We put young people at the centre of our programs, uplifting their physical and mental health to develop the next generation of leaders.
This is our City in The Community.
With the support of fans, CiTC uses the power of football to promote employment, social inclusion and physical activity.
Established in 2010 in the year of the Club’s foundation, the community outreach program has engaged with over 100,000 young Victorians using the power of football to promote wellbeing, education, employment and gender equity.

Underpinning our work is the Young Leaders program. Targeted at young people 16-24, the program allows participants the opportunity to volunteer with CiTC staff at community programs and A-Leagues match days. More info about the Young Leaders program here.
