I purchased a ticket to the original derby; do I get a new ticket to the replay?

All valid ticket holders for the original fixture will be eligible to redeem a replacement ticket for the derby replay. Ticketek will communicated directly with all ticket purchasers with detailed ticketing information from 11:00am AEDT Friday 31 March 2023.

Who will Ticketek communicate with?

Ticketek will communicate directly with ticket purchases only via email and/or SMS from 11:00am AEDT Friday 31 March 2023.

For the avoidance of doubt, a ticket purchaser is the person whose contact details were given to Ticketek at the time of the original purchase.

I have not received any communication for Ticketek, what do I do?

Ticketek will email and/or SMS all ticket purchasers from 11:00am AEDT Friday 31 March. If you have not received any communication from Ticketek, please ensure you have checked all spam/other folders in your email inbox.

Please also remember that only the ticket purchaser will receive communication from Ticketek. If you did not physically purchase your ticket to the original fixture, please check with the original purchaser.

When do tickets go on sale to the general public?

Any unsold tickets will go on public sale to the general public via Ticketek from 12:00pm AEST on Monday 3 April 2023.

I am a Melbourne City member; what do I need to do?

Reserved Seat:
All A-League Men members with reserved seat access to AAMI Park will be able to attend the derby replay as they would any other match. Simply scan your membership upon entry and take your regular seat.

General Admission:
A-League Men members with general admission access to AAMI Park who had previously redeemed a ticket to the original fixture will receive a redemption code(s) from Ticketek and will be required to re-redeem a new seat(s) if attending the replay. Your redemption code(s) will be automatically sent directly to your email and/or phone via Ticketek.

A-League Men members with general admission access to AAMI Park who had not redeemed a ticket to the original fixture, but would like to attend the replay, can do so by redeeming a new reserved seat using your unique member number when remaining tickets go on sale. The club will be in touch via email with detailed redemption instructions for these members.

What if I can’t make it to the derby replay on Wednesday 5 April?

If you’ve purchased a ticket to the original fixture and you’re unable to attend the replay on Wednesday 5 April 2023, you can instead opt to redeem a ticket to any remaining Melbourne City or Melbourne Victory home match for the remainder of the 2022/23 regular season.

Tickets to alternative matches can be redeemed from 12:00pm AEST on Monday 3 April 2023 via Ticketek. Simply visit Ticketek, select your preferred match and insert your unique code into the ‘password’ field to claim your ticket.

Codes will be sent to directly ticket purchasers via Ticketek from 11:00am AEDT on Friday 31 March 2023. 

I purchased a ticket but I’m unable to attend the replay or any future match; can I get a refund?

Yes, please refer to the email sent to all ticket purchasers by Ticketek on Friday 31 March 2023 with refund information.
