Following the abandonment of the original fixture in December, the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have confirmed the replayed Melbourne Derby will now take place on Wednesday 5 April at AAMI Park from 7:00pm AEST. The match will resume from the 22nd minute, with City leading 1-0.
We know City fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the timing of the replay and we appreciate your patience while we worked with all stakeholders, including Football Australia, the APL and Melbourne & Olympic Parks, to secure the venue during a particularly busy period on Victoria’s sporting calendar.
And with the match just a little under a week away, you won’t have to wait long to get your derby fix.
Ticketek will begin contacting valid ticket purchasers* via email and/or SMS from 11:00am AEDT Friday 31 March 2023 with detailed information regarding the derby replay on Wednesday 5 April and how to claim your seat.
A lot may have changed since December, but your City boys are still chasing a record breaking third consecutive A-League Men’s Premier’s Plate and will be fired up and ready to finish what they started when the whistle blows next Wednesday.
C’mon City!
