The new season is fast approaching and we’re already back in full swing with one of the best parts – player appearances at our City Clubs!
These kicked off on Thursday night at three clubs across Melbourne, with plenty more planned for the weeks ahead.

One night after the Matildas smashed national records with millions of Australians turning into the World Cup Semi Final, there was no surprise that City A-League Women’s defender, Kaitlyn Torpey, was the star of the show at Healesville SC.
She was joined by some of the newest faces in our Men’s squad; Zane Schreiber and Patrick Beach, who spent plenty of time signing autographs, taking selfies and fielding questions from the Healesville youngsters.
Jamie Young, Samuel Souprayen, Terry Antonis, Max Caputo and Callum Talbot were all out at Hampton Park SC, running a skills session for some excited young Sparrows footballers.
Meanwhile out at Mornington SC, Alessandro Lopane, Arion Sulemani, James Nieuwenhuizen, Andrew Nabbout, Steven Ugarkovic and Emin Durakovic put the kids through their paces.
These sessions featured a variety of activities including keepy uppy challenges, penalty shootouts and dribbling courses – while of course there were plenty of autographs signed and selfies taken!
