Melbourne City star Holly McNamara has been named in the Matildas squad for the upcoming 2025 SheBelieves Cup in the United States.
The prestigious four-nations tournament will see Australia face Japan (current world number eight), the United States (reigning Olympic gold medallists), and Colombia (current world number 21).
Since making her return from injury, McNamara has netted three goals and registered one assist – quickly showcasing why the City forward is one of the league’s most lethal attackers.

The 22-year-old joins a host of former City stars in the national team squad, with former teammates Kaitlyn Torpey and Daniela Galic also named, alongside former captain, Steph Catley, Ellie Carpenter, Emily van Egmond, Winonah Heatley and Teagan Micah.
McNamara will depart for international duty following City’s clash with Sydney FC on Saturday 15 February at AAMI Park.
