Following Tuesday afternoon’s announcement from Football Australia, we can now confirm the match details for our Australia Cup Round of 32 clash.

City’s Australia Cup journey will begin on Tuesday 2 August with an away trip on the cards to face Newcastle Olympic FC.

Currently competing in the New South Wales Northern NPL competition, Olympic will host the clash as per competition regulations.

This will mark Newcastle’s first appearance in what was previously known as the FFA Cup, while City will be looking for an improved performance after being knocked out in last season’s quarter-finals on penalties.

All Australia Cup Final Round matches will be broadcast live and free on 10play.
