Experienced City duo Hannah Wilkinson and Katie Bowen have been named in New Zealand Football’s squad, ahead of the Football Ferns fixtures with Iceland and Nigeria in April.
Jitka Klimkova’s team will travel to Antalya, Turkey, where they will play both Iceland and Nigeria at Marden Sports Complex as their preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup continue.
Before jetting off on international duty, Wilkinson and Bowen will be in action as City looks to secure a place in the A-League Women’s Finals when they host Canberra United at AAMI Park on Sunday 2 April, kick-off 5:40pm.
The April international window will take place between 3-11 April, before Week 1 of the A-League Women’s Finals.
