The 2022/23 season is now on the horizon, so now’s the time to make sure your up to speed with all of the squad numbers for the new season!
After some movement in the squad over the off-season, a handful of players have switched numbers, while our new signings have all locked theirs in too.
Midfielder Aiden O’Neill has made the move to #13, which opened up in January when now Socceroo Nathaniel Atkinson departed the club.
The flow on effect saw new signing Richard van der Venne take the #8, while fellow new signings Valon Berisha and Thomas Lam will be seen in #14 and #6 respectively.
Jordon Hall also has swooped on a recently vacant number, taking the #18 last worn by Socceroos midfielder Connor Metcalfe who now plies his trade for FC St. Pauli in 2.Bundesliga.
Luke Oresti, who scored in City’s Australia Cup campaign, has also made the move from #48 to #30.
Callum Talbot will stick with the #25 for his first season at City, while scholarship duo Arion Sulemani (#34) and Emin Durakovic (#39) have both confirmed their shirts for their first season as part of the club’s senior squad.
