It was a mostly successful month for Rado Vidosic’s side, recording three wins from four fixtures.
There were plenty of strong performers across the squad as City pushed its lead at the top of table out to nine points while still maintaining its game in hand.
Dutch midfielder Richard van der Venne got the month off to a perfect start when he netted a hattrick in the 6-1 win over Macarthur, before recording an assist in each of City’s next two fixtures.
Jordan Bos continued his rapid trajectory putting in some huge shifts throughout the month. The highlight of course being his goal of the season contender in the away 4-2 win over Perth.
While we may have been without our final nominee, Mathew Leckie, for the last fixture of the month, there’s no denying his incredible form in the three fixtures prior.
Leckie was directly involved in six goals in those matches, scoring three himself and recording another three assists before going down with a hamstring injury.
